From the “Fade Brigade” to the “Skoundrel Scum Foundation”, Miami-based streetwear line ran by Tones, Kevin Giant and Gio plays on these “Gangs” they created with every shirt hence the lookbook spread. With Tones covering the writing portion and Gio catching the domineer of each gang through the photography, this lookbook is presented as a magazine. Stay tuned for the release date of the collection.

Nike says that while the designers were still working for the company they began to build a blueprint to replicate Nike’s famous Innovation Kitchen and stole secrets from inside its walls to take elsewhere. This is the area where Nike experiments with new designs and starts to test them years before they would ever hit the market. Only a select few of its staff are allowed inside.

They’re also claiming that one of the designers, Denis Dekovic, had the contents of his work laptop duplicated, taking the documents across to adidas. These included team uniforms and designs for the 2016 European Championships, plans for Nike-sponsored athletes across seven countries, and unreleased financial information and projections.

Speaking to the Portland Business Journal via their law firm, the three designers defended themselves saying:

“We find Nike’s allegations hurtful because they are either false or are misleading half-truths. We did not take trade secrets or intellectual property when we departed Nike in September. The athletic footwear industry is fast moving and rapidly changing and, as creative people, we thrive on innovation and freshness. We are looking forward to bringing new and innovative ideas and designs to Adidas when our non-competition agreement expires.”

Many feared that Facebook’s acquisition of Instagram (for a cool $1 billion) would ruin the photo sharing app, but it actually continued to grow in popularity. There are now 70 million photos shared every single day, adding up to a total of 30 billion across the network.

A few weeks ago IAC chairman and billionaire Barry Diller announced a plan to build a 2.4 acre island in the Hudson River at a cost of $170 million ($130 million of which will come from him and his wife). Well, now we have some more renders of the project, which shows the park will have beautiful gardens, winding walkways, and a 700-seat amphitheatre.

Speaking about the island, named Pier 55, Diller said he felt very lucky to be part of such an exciting project. “We’ve been plotting this for almost two years,” he said. “It will take us another four years to actually build it […] It will be a performance place for every kind of discipline of music, spoken theater, ballet, orchestra.”

The park will be built 186 feet from the Hudson River shoreline near 14th Street in New York City and will be supported by 300 mushroom-shaped concrete columns.
