19-year-old Brooklyn-based rapper Jay Bel gets introspective on the first release from the SleeperCamp collective with “Kate”. On the track, Bel vents about his life, others expectations of himself & the yearning to follow his dreams over wavy synths & phased hi-hats. Produced by Sedroc Nurse, also of SleeperCamp; there is a lot of potential for the young emcee. Take a listen to the track above and lets us know your thoughts in the c-section.
